Amanda is the Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Having served as a global leader of Gensler’s Work Sector, she identifies trends that impact global business strategy and design philosophy for some of the most recognized companies, including Google, Deloitte, and IBM. She is an advisor to global developers like Vornado Realty Trust, Oxford Properties, Hines, and JBG Smith on the future of work and how it will transform their buildings and districts. Amanda’s ability to connect clients to a greater vision by using design as a tool to advance ESG goals has been a signature of her success. She led the design team of Etsy’s headquarters in Brooklyn, which achieved Living Building Challenge Petal certification. Amanda’s team is currently leading the design of Google’s Hudson Square campus with 550 Washington as the centerpiece, which will embody Google’s future of work strategy and sustainability goals.
She has been recognized by the Crain’s New York Business Notable Women in Construction, Design & Architecture List in 2022 and LinkedIn NextWave in 2015, which honors the top 150 professionals under 35 transforming their industries. She is a sought-after thought leader, speaking at SXSW, ICFF, and the Future Workplace Summit. Her projects and expertise have been published in Fast Company, Interior Design, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Washington Post.
Amanda has dedicated her career to empowering the next generation of professionals. In addition to nurturing future leaders through Gensler University programs, she serves on the Girls Inc. National Scholarship Committee and is actively involved in CoreNet and IIDA.
