Keith Thompson
Aviation Leader, Studio Director, Principal
Keith is an Aviation Leader, Studio Director, and Principal in Gensler’s Los Angeles office. He has nearly 40 years of experience leading terminal design, master planning, and aviation-related facilities projects at more than 60 airports worldwide. Over the course of his career, Keith has directed a majority of Gensler’s Aviation projects, ranging from small (McClellan-Palomar Airport) and medium-scale projects (John Wayne Airport), to large projects (Incheon International Airport Terminal 2).
Keith is actively engaged with ACI North America where he has served as an Associate Board Member, and the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) where he has served as a Conference Chair and past President. Through his ongoing involvement, Keith has influenced national airport development policy and has been named as a contributor in several FAA Advisory circulars.
He received a Master of Business Administration from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from MIT.
