Matthew Holt, ARB, RIBA

Matt is a Global Building Transformation & Adaptive Reuse Leader based in Gensler’s London office. His particular interest lies in solving complex repositioning projects, transforming buildings that have come to the end of their current life-cycle. Matt has helped lead the design and delivery of a number of successful repositioning projects for landlords and developers, with a firm understanding of the clients aims and objectives, as well as the inherent sustainability challenges faced by the built environment.

As an architect, Matt has a strong sense of design integrity as well as an appreciation for the importance of successful and symbiotic client relationships. These two attributes help in the realisation of client briefs and more importantly the creation of unique and successful architecture.

Before joining Gensler, Matt worked for a large Chinese Design Institute in Shanghai as well as a smaller UK based practice specialising in commercial, retail, and high-end residential projects.
