As Managing Principal for Gensler’s Northwest region and Managing Director of the San Francisco office, Randy focuses on transforming our clients’ organizations through new approaches to design, research, and experience. A founding leader of the firm’s global Technology practice area, Randy’s award-winning work is highly regarded and influential in the technology sector and across multiple other industries. He has been a featured speaker at international design conferences like SXSW, the Design Management Institute, CoreNet Global, and NeoCon, and has also written about design and urban issues in the Bay Area and beyond in HuffPost and the San Francisco Chronicle. Additionally, Randy’s work has been featured in Interior Design, Metropolis, Fast Company, Forbes, The Economist, and other notable publications. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and is also on the board of the Bay Area Council. Randy completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and earned his Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
