Principal
Bill is a Design Principal in Gensler’s Detroit office. Since joining the firm in 1996, his design leadership has transformed global organizations, companies, and communities into meaningful economic and social contributors by expanding conventional design practice to re-frame their challenges and deliver results. Currently, Bill is leading Gensler’s team for the New Midfield Terminal Program at John Glenn Columbus International Airport and holds key client relationships with global clients based in the Midwest. He has served in a variety of leadership roles at Gensler, including Office Director in Detroit, Chair of the Design Leadership Taskforce, a Firmwide Client Relationships Leader, and most recently Co-Managing Principal of the North Central Region. He is a member of many professional and community organizations, including the American Institute of Architects, the Engineering Society of Detroit, the Urban Land Institute, and The Detroit Institute of Arts. Bill received both his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
